The 2016 Made In Hollywood Honors For Television will be Hosted by American stage, television and film actor
Joe Morton on September 7.
The mission of the Made In Hollywood Honors is to celebrate the world-class caliber of the industry of entertainment and art created in Hollywood, where the motion picture business was born over 100 years ago.
Established to honor Oscar-and-Emmy-nominated projects, the program showcases to the world, the quality of productions made in Los Angeles and throughout California. Given the global competition to host such production, the sponsors believe it is important to acknowledge and celebrate award-nominated projects that film in-state. In addition, the program highlights California’s richly diverse locations, unequaled talent/crew base, world-class infrastructure and recently expanded film and television tax credit program that is helping the state to compete globally.
The Made in Hollywood Honors program is supported by the official proclamations from the Los Angeles City Council (spearheaded by Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell) and a panel of entertainment industry partners including SAG-AFTRA, The Producers Guild of America, FilmL.A., the California Film Commission, Teamsters Local 399 and Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund, with support by Guttman Associates and hosted by 1600 VINE.
